Man Cave London is an online fashion store, blending sophisticated style with outdoors and lifestyle clothing and gear. We were tasked with creating a look book of images which showcased both sides of Man Cave's carefully curated stock whilst ensuring that the two styles remained coherent.
Over three shoots we sourced five separate locations that we felt would perfectly represent the brand. For the stylish menswear and accessories we chose city locations where the smarter pieces could really shine. Coastal and forested locations perfectly complimented these for the outdoors elements. We aided in casting and selection of models for the shoots and managed logistics on set and pre shoot. For image selection and retouching we worked closely with Gemma from Man Cave to ensure the correct products were being showcased. This ensured that Man Cave could push sales for key items and looks and produce a look book that really stands out from the crowd.
For the outdoors section of the look book we shot at the iconic Durdle Door in Dorset. A few location scouting trips before the shoot made us sure this was the perfect spot for a sunset campfire shoot.
Working to a shot list put together with Man Cave , we made sure every product was photographed and made time for some extra shots which showcased the brand ideals and helped bring life to the printed product.
One of the three models was used for both elements of the shoot to show the narrative of moving from the city to an adventure in nature with friends, with the aim of showcasing products in a natural and appealing way.
We helped select models who were adaptable to both styles required for the shoot, casting people we knew would be fit for the job whilst keeping in the constrains of the clients budget.
